Dr M treats all her patients personally, starting with the M-ethod™ Consultation to discuss your desired results and expectations. Once the treatment has been agreed, you will have some pre-treatment photographs taken. The treatment area will be cleansed and numbing cream applied.
The SkinPen is carefully glided across the area of concern using the Skinfuse LIFT HG (allergy free from cytotoxic) to create hundreds of microscopic puncture wounds, which stimulates the natural repair process and activates collagen and elastin production. Erythema should be visible with possible signs of blood spotting, this gives us indication that the depth is at its correct point in order to penetrate deep enough into the skin.
Following treatment, you will be provided with dedicated SkinPen aftercare products to help soothe the area. You will be offered a review appointment and receive aftercare instructions in your inbox.

No, a patch test is not required.

We advise avoiding blood-thinning medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen (unless instructed by your doctor) 3 days before your treatment. We also recommend avoiding alcohol 24 hours before your treatment and coming in for your appointment without make-up, although a thorough cleanse will be performed prior to your treatment.
